TransMEA 2025: Siemens Unveils Egypt-Exclusive Velaro Train at Landmark Exhibition

From November 9 to 11, 2025, the sixth edition of the Smart Transport, Logistics, and Industry Exhibition and Conference (TransMEA 2025) commenced at the Egypt International Exhibition Center. Under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the event gathered over 500 international and local enterprises from 30 countries, establishing itself as a key global platform for showcasing Egypt’s progress in transportation and industrial development.

With the theme “Industry and Transport Hand in Hand for Sustainable Development,” the exhibition highlighted the deep integration of these two sectors — a core pillar in Egypt’s efforts to build a new republic and realize its “Vision 2030.” Through this event, the Egyptian government aimed to advance its strategy of positioning the country as a regional hub for transport, logistics, transit trade, and industry. This comes at a time when Egypt is experiencing unprecedented growth in both transportation infrastructure and domestic manufacturing capabilities.
