The 2025 EXPO Ferroviaria was grandly held at the Fiera Milano Rho in Milan, Italy from September 30th to October 2nd. Hosted by Reed Exhibitions, the exhibition has become a landmark international event in the rail transit industry in Italy since its establishment over 20 years ago, and it is held every two years.

EXPO Ferroviaria is a core platform for exchanges and cooperation across the entire railway industry chain, attracting exhibitors and professional visitors from the global railway field, and comprehensively showcasing the technological innovation and development trends of the industry. The exhibition area of this session reached 20,000 square meters, attracting 385 international exhibitors and 24,800 visitors.

The exhibition covered the technologies and products required for the entire railway operation scenario, from the complete vehicles and traction systems of mainline passenger and freight trains, regional trains, subways, and trams, to train components, interior accessories, and then to track materials, construction and maintenance equipment, as well as infrastructure equipment such as signal control, communication technology, and traction power supply were all centrally displayed. At the same time, vehicle maintenance equipment, ticketing systems, station facilities, cable technology, railway-specific electronic equipment, and even "soft power" products such as safety systems, training services, and consulting solutions were all available.

The exhibition also set up three special zones to highlight cross-border and innovation. The "Aerospace Technology Hub" joined hands with the Italian National Aerospace Technology Cluster (CTNA) to showcase the integration achievements of aerospace technology and railways at the scientific research, design, and technical levels. The "Tunnel Zone" focused on the latest innovations in tunnel and underground space construction and equipment. The newly added "Innovation Hub" in 2025 provided a display platform for start-ups with cutting-edge solutions. In addition, the exhibition also laid a real - scene track, allowing visitors to intuitively experience the actual operation effect of rail vehicles and related equipment.

In addition to product displays, the exhibition also held a number of supporting activities, including theme conferences covering industry hotspots, technical seminars, practical workshops, and cross - border B2B matchmaking meetings, helping exhibitors accurately connect with resources, gain insights into future trends, and promote the coordinated development of the global railway industry.
