Welding equipment serves as the core component of this production process—this is where all load-bearing structures (including machine frames, tamper unit casings, and bogie frames) are manufactured. The workshop consumes approximately 3,500 tons of steel and 100 tons of welding wire annually. Although robotic welding systems are widely used, a significant proportion of welding operations are still performed manually. Notably, all welding joints undergo non-destructive testing methods for quality verification.
